So...who uses a journal anyways? Well, I do...I mean, I did...NOW I am a blogger! I have always loved the idea of keeping a journal to keep up with thoughts and memories that can be remembered and treasured all over again at a later time. I am such a memories junky! I love hearing my grandparent's dating stories and seeing pictures that are so old they look like they will fall apart. Its a part of my personal history...a part of my legacy...what makes me who I am today and who I am still growing to be.
Did I mention that I am a mom? I was once told that I could not have children...I will have to share my testimony one of these days, but today is not that day. God gave me and my husband 2 beautiful and amazing kids! I get very emotional when I think that I once thought that having children of my own was not possible...why did I ever doubt that God would not give me what my heart has always desired. From the time that I could understand what a momma was...I wanted to be one when I grew up. I just felt that being a mom was such a special mission. To be able to carry an un-born baby and feel it's every move as it grows...I just HAD to experience God's creation coming to life!
The day that my children were born are 2 of my favorite days! Both were different experiences just as each child is different...but both were blessings.
This is my very first blog entry...I don't expect the rest will be as mushy...my kids are way to silly and give me way too many funny experiences to fill this blog with tissue-grabbing stories. I can't promise that there won't be a few but I am looking forward to sharing my life, my legacy with those that want to listen. And so it begins...
Such a sweet post! Cara makes me unbelievably mushy too. There's no love like a momma's love!
